Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Cloudly Oy, Finland, operates cloudly.fi. This policy covers our public website and enquiries sent using its contact links. Cloudly Oy is the controller for the personal data described below. You can contact us at lassi.raatikainen@cloudly.fi.
Browsing without tracking
We do not track visitors, build visitor profiles, or use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or browser fingerprinting. The website has no visitor accounts, registration, newsletter sign-ups, or forms that collect personal information. We do not sell visitor data or use it for targeted advertising or automated decision-making.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. We do not load third-party analytics, social media embeds, or remotely hosted fonts. Social media links only take you to another service when you choose to follow them.
The colour theme follows your device preference. A manual theme change is not saved to browser storage. Your browser may cache ordinary website files as part of delivering the pages; we do not use that cache to identify or track you.
Because the website does not use cookies or similar technologies requiring consent, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. We will reassess this before introducing any feature that requires consent.
Hosting and technical request data
The website consists of static files hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), using Amazon S3 in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1), and Amazon CloudFront for content delivery.
Delivering a page requires AWS to process your IP address and technical request information, such as the requested URL and HTTP headers. IP addresses can be personal data. A website cannot deliver pages without this network communication, so our no-tracking approach does not mean that no personal data is ever processed.
Our website infrastructure configuration does not enable CloudFront standard or real-time access logging, or S3 server access logging. We do not use request data to analyse individual visitors or maintain a visitor database. AWS may process operational and security information to run and protect its infrastructure under its applicable terms; disabling our access logs does not mean that AWS processes or retains no technical data.
Where we are responsible for personal data processed to deliver and protect the website, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
CloudFront uses an international network, so technical request data may be processed outside the European Economic Area even though the origin files are stored in Germany. AWS’s Data Processing Addendum applies to its processing of customer data and includes standard contractual clauses for applicable international transfers. You can contact us for information about these safeguards.
If you contact us
Sending us an email is optional. If you do, we receive your email address, your message, and any other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and handle any resulting business relationship, with our email service provider processing the correspondence as needed to deliver and store it.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or taking steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable (Article 6(1)(b)). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
External links and changes
External websites and services have their own privacy practices, which apply when you visit them. This policy does not cover those services or separate client projects.
We will publish any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
